Lucy Porter is a Los Angeles-based writer, comedian, and person with extraordinarily wide thumbs.
She holds an MFA in screenwriting from DePaul University and is a graduate of Second City's Comedy Studies program. A dynamic comedic voice with feminine flair, Lucy dazzles audiences across the country with her signature cabaret style of comedy, embracing original songs and auto-biographical storytelling.
As a screenwriter, her female-driven comedies have received notoriety placing in Screencraft’s Comedy Competition (2022), Final Draft’s Big Break (2022), as an official selection for SeriesFest’s Pitch-a-Thon (2023), and winning the 2024 PROOF film festival's Pitch Deck Show & Tell.
Her proof-of-concept pilot, BITS, premiered at this year's SeriesFest, winning her the Outstanding Series Format Deck Award presented by Canva and the Someone to Watch Award for her “boldness of voice and cheeky blend of comedy and pathos.”
